Glossary Y - Z

Zinc-Aluminum Coated: Steel coated with an alloy of zinc and aluminum to provide corrosion resistance.
Z Liner: A liner, which features a concealed fastener attachment with a flat surface profile. It is available in two types; Profile "D" (Sculptured) and Profile "E" (Flat).
Z Section: A member formed from coiled steel stock into the shape of a block "Z". Usually used for purlins and girts.
